Getting Here

We encourage using public transport wherever possible.

Address: Temple Newsam Park (Temple Newsam Road), Leeds, LS15 0AD

Bus: Bus numbers 163 & 19 from Leeds City Centre service Temple Newsam. For the 163, the Halton Lidl stop drops you closest to the event site. For the 19, the Temple Gate Drive stop drops you a short walk from the festival, and is the closer of the two buses at only a 15 minute walk from site. For more information, please visit www.wymetro.com.

Train: The nearest station is Cross Gates, approximately a 35 minute walk to the event site.

Car: Free parking is available close to site in the field next door. This will be on the grass field next to Temple Newsam South Car Park (“Temple Newsam Park – South” on Google Maps.) Follow yellow directional signage.

Disabled Access

There is an allocated disabled car park as near to the event site as possible with flat access onto site. Make the traffic stewards aware that this is where you prefer to park and they will point you in the right direction for accessible parking. There are disabled access toilets on site, and the festival is predominantly on flat grassland.

We aim to provide a festival environment that is welcoming and inclusive of all abilities, including hidden disabilities. If you have any questions or suggestions for the festival team, please contact us at info@templenewsamfoodfestival.com

Dogs

Dogs are very welcome! We just ask for them to be kept on a lead and any mess to be cleaned up, as well as being mindful of other attendees and their pets.

FAQs

Can I buy tickets on the day? Please always check ticket availability before travelling to the event as tickets often sell out. If they are available on the door, it may just take a couple minutes longer to get in to the festival. Tickets can still be bought online during the festival weekend and we highly encourage this.

Where in the park is the festival? The festival will be held within the same field as Temple Newsam Playground, surrounded by Elm Tree Walk.

Is free parking available? Yes! Free parking will be available in the field next door, in-front of Temple Newsam Road. This will be on the grass field next to Temple Newsam South Car Park (“Temple Newsam Park – South” on Google Maps.)

Is the festival sheltered? Parts of the festival are sheltered, but we are predominantly open-air. Please pack appropriately e.g. sun block, umbrellas.

Can I bring my own camping chairs? Yes, folding chairs, tables etc are most welcome, all we ask is that you clean up any rubbish and take any belongings home with you.

Do you have camping? Unfortunately attendee camping is not permitted on site.

Can I bring my own food and drink? Outside food and drink is not permitted on site, with the exceptions of baby food.

Can we leave the festival and come back in? Yes – please make sure you obtain a stamp/wristband from the entrance, otherwise we will be able to refuse re-entry.

Do you have carer tickets? Carers go free with a purchased child or adult ticket!
