Owen Diaram (MasterChef / Cook With Owen)  – Private tutor and local entrepreneur Owen Diaram is an expert in blending global flavours, showcasing his unique skill set on the 2023 series of MasterChef.

Daljit Singh (Punjabi Heaven) –  Daljit Singh leads the team at Punjabi Heaven, a highly-acclaimed Indian restaurant situated on Roundhay Road. Recently honoured as the ‘2025 Best Local Restaurant’ at the Oliver Awards, the family-run restaurant is celebrated for its take on authentic Punjabi cuisine.

Babna (Babna’s Patisserie) – Babna is an independent business owner and dessert specialist. Watch as she illustrates her passion for baking with mouth-watering flavours and beautifully crafted sweet goods.

Michael Cummings (The Drovers Arms) –  Chef Michael Cummings is the Head Chef of the multi-award-winning gastropub The Drovers Arms. Championing locally-sourced, seasonal produce, Chef Cummings has led the venue to win various honours, including the Visit York Tourism Awards Pub of The Year for three consecutive years.

Chris Hobson (The View) – As Head Chef of The View Restaurant in Scarborough, Chef Hobson shares his passion for ethically-sourced, sustainable ingredients. With over 20 years of culinary experience, his ethos for high-quality Yorkshire produce is celebrated within every dish.

Rekha Sonigra (Mango Restaurant) – Award-winning chef Rekha Sonigra is Head Chef at the esteemed Mango Restaurant in the heart of Wetherby. An expert in authentic, home-cooked Gujarati food, Rekha develops menus drawing on recipes passed down through her family for generations.

Jon Appleby (The Mill Group) – Jon Appleby is an expert in British produce and seasonal ingredients, emphasising sustainability through flavour-driven dishes. As Culinary Director of The Mill Group, Jon draws on his diverse experience to guide the creation of nuanced and vibrant dishes.

Douglas Crampton (Eight at Gazegill) –  Douglas Crampton is Chef Patron at Eight at Gazegill, a fine-dining restaurant in Clitheroe that utilises fresh, high-quality ingredients from their own working organic farm. Chef Crampton develops vibrant menus that balance a passion for creative, unique flavours with classic, time-honoured techniques.
